Khosta-2 Spike RBD (Receptor-Binding Domain) is a subregion of the spike (S) glycoprotein of the bat sarbecovirus Khosta-2 responsible for binding host receptors, including human ACE2. It lies within the S1 subunit and contains the receptor-binding motif (RBM) that mediates virus–cell attachment, making it a key target for neutralization studies and antibody development.
